Whew! Time to take a break! - Pestilence
After the filming of Scene 2, we ended up taking a long break. All of our actors and crew, including myself, were busy with something. We had so many school assignments accumulating on our schedules that we ended up having to adjust our schedules to accommodate them.
One thing is for sure: We were going to attempt to film Scene 1 again on the day of MPF3. However, we could not do that since one of our main actors, Sarah, could not make it that day. So, after talking, Jaydon and I decided that we were going to reschedule it for March 3rd, 2024. That date would be final as the project deadline is coming very soon. No excuses, no delays. All of the cast and crew were asked if they were able to make it that day. So far, no one stated that they were not able to. If any of the cast could not come, a replacement would have to be found to fill in their role.
In this case, I am going to CCFL to finally attend youth service after several weeks of not being able to due to the conflicting production dates.
Jaydon and I were also highly occupied this past week. Jaydon has a ton of U.S. History work to get done, as well as other assignments for other classes. I am in that same position. On top of that, I also was doing A/V operations for a play hosted by my school's drama club, which did go well! The cast and crew for that production, including myself, spent a lot of time and effort on the production that we possibly could. Everyone liked it, and several high school critics came and rated our show a 4.1 out of 5. So now, I'm practically on crunch time with all of my other schoolwork, especially with the testing season coming up, since just this production alone took up so much of my time.
When the long hiatus is over, we can finally start to put our efforts into preparing to film what we originally struggled with filming: Scene 1. We will arrive early. We will prepare as fast as possible. We will knock out any technical issues that may arise. Most important of all, we will get it done, have fun doing it, and then celebrate because we will have completed our last filming day! See you in a few days!
