Title Research - Opening Sequence

After reviewing three films, our next step before we begin planning and production will be to review the title sequences of select films! We will review 3 opening sequences that resonate well with our film.

To research the titles, we will be utilizing the sites "Art of the Title", and Watch the Titles!". These sites offer a catalog of opening sequences and end credits scenes. Ranging from TV shows, full-length films, and even video games, to live-action and animated productions, these sites have a diverse range of titles in specific types of productions to choose from.
Not only do they have a wealth of title sequences to check out, but both sites feature in-depth articles (some are also interviews) that feature the title design directors. The articles explain the inspiration and development of the opening sequences and other aspects of the film. Stills of the opening sequence and other related aspects of the film can be found in the articles.
Do keep in mind that the titles we select may not completely reflect what our final opening sequence design will look like. The idea is to fabricate a title design that entirely integrates tightly with the story we want to introduce in our opening sequence. Researching the three sequences will help to create inspiration for what we could potentially work into our finalized title design.

Now that Jaydon and I have done all of the necessary planning for the film, it is now time to become familiarized with the set! I would like to first off thank Jaydon for putting in the effort to get permission for us to film at CCFL.  I would also like to thank Mr. Nick over at CCFL for giving us permission to film here in the first place! Final Task - Pestilence

At last, I present the opening sequence for Pestilence, by Queen Sirena Studios! A potential two-hour-long film about a cyberattacker seeking to achieve global dominance. Directing, editing, and writing this film has truly been an honor. Enjoy the opening sequence!
