Title Research Blog: Sky Fighers - Opening Sequence
Greetings and Salutations
Welcome to Media TL;DR the series where I break down my greatest projects so you can easily dive in and understand my original ideas. I'm your host Jaydon Smith! And Today's topic is on researching movie title sequences made by other creators. And today's Title is "Sky Fighers" by Laurent Brett.
Titles Displayed
The first text we see are the names of the films that made this film, and after some cool transitions, we see the "Un Film Produit" which means "A film produced" by what we can assume are more names. Then they show more corporations.
Images Prioritized
The title producers prioritized the images of the planes showcased since this film is about planes and helicopters. This title took things further and broke down the inner structure of the plane, showing a high-tech, blueprint-esque presentation.
Genre Feeling
Breaking down the plane into its deconstructed structure shows machine and computer work, which falls into the domain of sci-fi. The text and the orientation of the interfaces also give off sci-fi correlations. And one more psychological fact is that the film primarily uses the colour blue during the plane breakdown, which you may think it's just because it's a blueprint, but the colour blue actually triggers certain schemas and sensors in the brain that symbolize intelligence and hard work.
Thats all!
That's it for this Title Blog everyone. I hope I made at least most of my descriptions and intentions clear. Thank you for reading! And until next time, stay cool and attractive.
