Research + Planning - All About Me Commercial

Today is the start of preparing my All About Me commercial. This commercial is essentially going to be a semi-immersive summary of my life. I am thinking that this video will likely follow a filming style where I will show myself speaking, but also show various photos and videos at the same time for a certain amount of seconds. I will either cut to a relavent photo or video of myself, while speaking or not, or have that relavent photo or video alongside me while speaking.

Where am I getting these photos and videos?

I have plenty of photos and videos of my life already saved on my desktop PC at my house. Containing a whopping 3.3TB of storage, it is essentially able to store my entire life and more on it! Of course, my more recent photos and videos are stored on my phone, which I occasionally move some media from there to my computer to free up space on my phone. For the purposes of this project, of course, some media will be copied over to my computer to be able to have the files present to be able to edit the video.

How will I be producing this video?

Any video that I film during this production may be done through my phone (iPhone 13). It already has a good enough camera just to film myself speaking. For post-production editing, I will be utilizing Adobe's Premiere Pro video editing software. I assume that the graphics for this video will be simple enough that I may not end up creating any After Effects compositions through Adobe Dynamic Link. This is a practice that I usually do for projects utilizing more advanced graphics in respective clips.

What content will I be inserting?

I am definitely going to add media that that pertrains to my interests/passions. If I recall correctly, the majority of the photos that I have that display my interests do not have my face shown in it, so I don't see photos in selfie form being used in this video often. As for music, I am currently looking for songs that can be a perfect fit for this video that represents me well. I don't really have any specifics yet, but I will post an update on that as production work progresses.

The Store! Sort of. - Pestilence

FINALLY!  Today is the first day of filming. Today is February 4, 2024, otherwise known as Main Production Filming 1 [MPF1]. So much planning has gone into this project, and now it's time to film the first scene of the opening sequence to a movie with an arbitrary science fiction story about a cyberattacker. Arrival I met Jaydon over at CCFL around 11 am. Sarah, who is playing as the tech store cashier, arrived at the same time that I arrived. We greeted each other, and then we promptly walked straight to the Black Box. As soon as we got in The Black Box, Jaydon and I started setting everything up.
